Get yourself to the Tablelands for a jam-packed weekend
It's shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends the Tablelands will see all year.
A jam-packed events line-up will feature the Tour of the Tropics cycle race - which incorporates a food festival by the team at Cairns on a Fork - plus a huge gathering of fast cars, food and fun at the Springmount Raceway.
Bill O'Rourke from Apex Milk Bar, who is managing the catering at Springmount Raceway, was excited to be part of the action on the Tablelands.
"It's really shaping up to be an amazing weekend for events, activities and adventures in the Tablelands," he told TropicNow.
"The Cairns On A Fork team will be at the Tour in the Tropics on Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm at Malanda and Yungaburra.
"Plus there's also the Aeroflow Nitro Funny Cars and 400 Thunder Sportsman round at Springmount, which will be huge. Event times are 4pm to 9pm on Friday and 10am to 9pm on Saturday. Food on offer there will be Apex Milk bar, Taco Loco Mobile Cantina and a BBQ and smoker kitchen."
