Nightlife and university writer
In between studying law at James Cook University, Connor is a popular DJ at Cairns clubs including Lyquid, Woolshed and Gilligans.
He is the former President of the James Cook University Student Association, a stint that included the successful negotiation and completion of a 5-year Memorandum of Understanding with Vice-Chancellor Sandra Harding.
Connor is passionate about both tertiary education from a student's point of view and the nightlife entertainment scene from a DJ's perspective, and he brings unique insight and opinions to both sectors.
Key issues he will cover for Tropic Now include the lockout laws, student's rights and ways Cairns could bolster its night-time economy.
