      A Your Exciting, New Role

      You are in charge of implementing, building and managing the successful delivery of a large scale, complex training information management system and putting into operation the new online learning and training system in compliance with organisational values. Your key responsibilities will include:

      • Assist staff in the design and deployment of a new learning management system
      • Provide recommendations for process improvements related to the system
      • Coordinate annual training needs analysis in line with business expectations
      • Liaise with subject matter experts and internal/external stakeholders regarding the development and management of the system
      • Advise, coach and mentor course owners in its use
      • Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate and manage online projects within agreed timeframes and budget constraints

      The Skills You Bring

      • Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or relevant tertiary qualifications that provide increased knowledge and skills of eLearning, organisational development and the health environment is highly advantageous
      • You are tech savvy and you have proven success undertaking a range of information management tasks, including word processing, desktop publishing, photo/audio/video editing, web programming, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software, and emerging web technologies
      • When it comes to organising, you are a total pro at setting priorities and meeting strict deadlines and timeframes
      • Having worked in similar role or related field, you have an eye for developing and maintaining systems and a strong ability to problem-solve complex technical problems whilst working autonomously to troubleshoot system problems
      • Teamwork is very important to you and you have a proven capacity to lead, collaborate, and coordinate complex, long-term projects with minimal supervision and meet clients’ needs and expectations

      To succeed in this role, you will have at least 2+ years’ experience in the support of information management systems including desktop productivity tools and business application systems with the ability to demonstrate diagnostic and problem solving capabilities.

      To be considered for this role, you must have an IT related qualification as well as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification or be working towards certification.

      Other essential skills required include:

      • Demonstrated experience in providing quality customer service skills within a large or multi functional organisation;
      • Demonstrated experience in the support of information management systems including desktop productivity tools and business application systems, in particular the ability to demonstrate diagnostic and problem solving capability;
      • Demonstrated ability to analyse situations, negotiate and manage priorities to ensure service levels are maintained;
      • Sound understanding of the principles of highly effective communication and demonstrated application of these principles in provision of quality ICT support services;
      • Detailed knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and how it applies to the management of ICT services;
      • Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a team environment and experience in provision of coaching to peers.

      • Assist in the design of a learning management system (LMS) and instructional materials.
      • Contribute to the development of other multimedia and design work as required by the Project. 
      • Provide recommendations for improvements related to all of the above multi-media design and development work.

      • A current Drivers Licence;

        • Digital display technologies;
        • Software and associated peripherals.
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills with clients and peers to provide IT service and in preparing reports and documentation;
      • Ability to manage workload effectively alone and as part of a team, by setting priorities and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met.
