      Your Exciting, New Role

      To ensure the efficient, correct, on time and reliable delivery of customer orders ensuring that Max Stocks customer service standards are upheld at all times. Key responsibilities of the role include:

      • Process orders – ensure that the customer gets exactly what they order and troubleshoot for any orders that are incorrect, sourcing correct stock in conjunction with warehouse and following up to ensure that the customer receives the correct order in the promised timeframe
      • Contact regular client list and advise the following:
        • Describe product benefits and any special offers
        • Introduce new products that may be of interest to the clients
        • Upsell products
        • Gather and document information about the client
        • Enter notes into a diary system, including dates for follow up calls
        • Take orders and arrange for delivery and invoices to be sent
      • Process customer orders
      • In conjunction with supervisor (Customer Service Manager) ensure a good working relationship with warehouse staff to ensure that telesales are aware of items in stock and delivery times on items not kept in stock
      • As directed by supervisor, ensure that any customers/suppliers/contractors that come directly to Max Stocks premises are greeted and signed in as per WH&S requirements and that their orders/reasons for coming are processed and dealt with in an efficient and customer service orientated way
      • In conjunction and as directed by supervisor, liaise with Sales Representatives regarding new products, new product lines, specials and discounts. Establish a good strategic relationship with key suppliers
      • Follow all company policies on vehicles, delivery procedures, customer service procedures and food handling
      • Attend staff meetings when required
      • Undertake the responsibilities of the position adhering to:
        • Equal Opportunity and anti-discrimination legislation and requirements
        • Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation and requirements
        • Max Stocks Food Service policies & procedures
        • Legal requirements

      Qualifications

      • Advise Client representatives where required on matters pertaining to HSEQ compliance;
      • Advising the project team on the application of legislative requirements to the project;
      • Evaluate and make recommendations pertaining to HSEQ requirements to the HSEQ Manager based on HSEQ issues;
      • Submission of Monthly Project reports in required timeframes;

      Other experience deemed important include:

      • Minimum Cert IV OHS;
      • Successful completion of CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
      • Current Queensland driver’s licence.
      • Current First Aid
      • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite;
