Watch this stunning video of the Daintree to remind yourself we live in the most beautiful location on earth

A visiting videographer has produced a breath-taking short film of his recent trip to the Daintree.

A nature-loving videographer was so inspired by his recent visit to the Daintree he made a stunning short film to remember it by.

Melbourne-based Camilo Ruiz Sierra, who regularly visits his brother in Cairns, said he wanted to show the world how "rich and beautiful" the Tropical North region is.

"I've always been a fan of nature, and particularly wildlife and the Daintree showed me that in a way that I've never experienced before," he told TropicNow.

"I went for my birthday and recording that video was like a personal gift for me and everyone. I want to inspire them and show them how rich and beautiful this part of the world is.

"I deeply believe in the importance of conservation and I stand for the respect of nature."

Camilo said so many Australians often forget how lucky we are to live in such beautiful surroundings.

"Going to the Daintree is particularly easy and sometimes we take this opportunity for granted," he said.

"I've never had the opportunity of seeing a wild Cassowary, spiders that big, beautiful butterflies and a rainforest in such pristine condition.

"Again, for me this an inspirational video and ultimately what I would like people to do is to take action and responsibility about the care of these places."
