TNQ pays tribute to pioneering businesswoman


Friends, family and the TNQ community are mourning the loss of Rose-Marie Dash, a pioneering businesswoman in the region.

Messages of condolence are being posted to Facebook as news of Rose-Marie’s passing after a battle with cancer spread.

Rose-Marie was a mum to four children and was well known in the community as a director of Advance Cairns, chief executive officer of H&S Vision Group and a board member of Catholic Education Cairns.



Advance Cairns chairman Trent Twomey paid tribute to her legacy saying she will be missed by all who knew her.

"She was CEO of one of Cairns’ largest companies and a director at Advance Cairns," he said.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with her young family."
