Jungle Giants and SAFIA headline Grass is Greener festival

Three of Australia's premier electro-dance acts will storm the stage at the 2018 Grass is Greener festival in October.

The Jungle Giants, SAFIA and Hayden James will headline the popular music festival at the Cairns Showgrounds on Saturday October 27, along with local acts like Drewboy and the Sax Addicts.

Other talent on the line-up includes Luca Brasi, Kwame, Xavier Mayne and Ember.

TGIG co-founder Oli Frost said the festival team wanted to "smash people's expectations" each and every year.

"For our third season we have worked extra hard to smash people's expectations with 'out of the park' talent spanning the fiercest dance DJs and live bands for wider appeal," he said.

"We are immensely proud to bring some of the biggest names straight from the stages of Splendour and Falls to the north while presenting their music with our own signature brand of laidback, tropical ambience.

"The idyllic climate, picturesque surrounds and intimate stages in a city-heart setting has all the making of a sustainable annual fixture on Australia's festival circuit.
