Cairns Performing Arts Centre
The gala opening of the Cairns Performing Arts Centre was a
night to remember.
Despite looming threats of ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen, more
than 900 VIP guests joined politicians and performers
to celebrate the long-awaited launch of this beautiful $75
million community asset.
The appreciative crowd was treated to a selection of songs,
dances and routines in a spectacular two-hour event.
