Poolside Cairns music festival release locals deals, day tickets

Locals deals and day passes have just dropped for an upcoming poolside festival in Cairns, featuring Thirsty Merc alongside six other Aussie artists.

The two-day festival at Novotel Cairns will host over 18 hours of poolside live music, plus pop-up food stalls, a swim-up bar and a cocktail garden.

Locals can grab a $70 day ticket to either Friday 23 or Saturday 24 April, or a $120 pass for the weekend.

Find the full lineup and ticket details below.

Headlined by pop rock favourites Thirsty Merc, the Savannah Summer Series Pool Party also welcomes one of Australia's most popular country artists Adam Brand.

Thirsty Merc will appear on the series’ opening night, Friday 23 April, while Adam Brand will take the stage on Saturday 24.

Dee Jay Bux will kick off each day, followed by local legends the Roadtrippers and nostalgic country artist Liam Brew.

Country pop chart toppers Darlinghurst and 80s superstars Eurogliders round out the live entertainment on both nights.

Pop-up food stalls will include a charcoal satay hut, noodle bar, and low and slow smoked meats.

Locals day tickets start from $70 per adult and $35 per junior, while weekend passes are $120 per adult and $60 per junior.

It's a significant drop from the original ticket prices at $230pp twin share, with no day passes for sale.

But if you'd like to enjoy the show from your own private balcony, a suite of accommodation deals are still available.

Show times are Friday 2-10pm, Saturday 12-10pm. Find tickets here.

The poolside festival is the prelude to the epic three-day Savannah in the Round at Mareeba, set to welcome Shannon Noll, Lee Kernaghan and Tex Perkins across the October long weekend.
