TODAY'S TOP STORIES

FRESHWATER ONE OF AUSTRALIA’S FASTEST-SELLING SUBURBS
Freshwater has been named among the top ten of fastest-selling units in Queensland, the only suburb outside of South East Queensland to make the list.

A Property Pulse report released by CoreLogic revealed that units in the suburb were selling within 25 days of listing.

The report investigated 10 suburbs in each Australian state with the shortest median selling time for houses and units over the 12 months to January 2017.

Oxley in Brisbane topped the list, with units selling after 15 days.

CoreLogic analyst Cameron Kushner said suburbs in sought-after locations with relatively low stock available for sale were likely to see transactions occurring at a fairly rapid pace, especially if vendors set realistic initial listing prices.
