Rusty's Markets, Smithfield Shopping Centre and Bunnings at Portsmith are among a new list of COVID-19 exposure sites in Cairns.
Contract tracers have investigated the movements of the marine pilot back to 23 July, when he disembarked a ship on which he is thought to have contracted the virus.
On that date he attended Bluewater Village Early Learning, a previous contact tracing site which the man's child attends.
The man, aged in his 30s, was at Smithfield Shopping Centre that same day in the late morning, attending Subway and Ali Babba Kebab House.
Later that evening, he went to Tuk Tuk by the Sea at Trinity Beach.

The following day, the man popped into Anaconda at Cairns Homemaker Centre, then Bunnings at Portsmith, the Caltex Service Station on Kenny Street and City Beach at Cairns Central, before heading to Rusty's Markets where he went to LeeLong Fresh.
On the morning of Monday, 26 July, he went to Cairns Airport and caught flight QF707.
All are considered casual contact sites.
"A positive case has had their infectious period revised," a Queensland Health spokesperson said.

"As a precaution, we are asking the community to follow the health advice if they have been to those locations at the identified date and time, regardless of the time since exposure."
Sites in Brisbane have also been added to the list before the reef pilot's return to Cairns on 29 July.
His list of close contact sites remain as Bayleaf Balinese Restaurant, 1300 Smiles Dental Practice, Bluewater Village Early Learning Centre, the Reef Magic ferry to and from Fitzroy Island, and Hidden Cafe.
Also unchanged, the taxi driver's list of close contact sites are the 24 Hour Medical Centre, QML Pathology and Ramsay Pharmacy at Cairns Medical Centre, Cafe China, Brothers League Club, Woolworths Raintrees and Raintrees Tavern.
There are over 1,086 contacts associated with the two positive Cairns cases.
