Get ready Amateurs punters: you've never seen a cocktail offering at Cairns Amateurs quite like this before.

New Cairns cocktail bar Gin Social has just announced its drinks menu for Meet Eat Repeat at Cairns Amateurs this Saturday - and it's sensational.

Head to the free Meet Eat Repeat area once you're inside Cannon Park and you'll be able to grab either a unique espresso martini made with Mr Black liqueur and Blackbird cold brew coffee or you can choose a classic Tom Collins using the Tableland's own Mt Uncle Gin.

The Gin Social cocktail bar joins 10 food vendors including NuNu, Dumpling Studio, Apex Milk Bar, The Chicken Shed, Sipping Duck, Java Boy, Samosa Hub and heaps more at the Meet Eat Repeat area from 11am this Saturday.

Darren Barber from Gin Social - who is also part of the team behind laneway bar Three Wolves - said a love of high quality gin led to the decision to offer Amateurs punters a classic Tom Collins, while espresso martini's are among Australia's most popular cocktails.

"At Gin Social we love our gin and what better way to showcase this love than with a classic Tom Collins using the local Mt Uncle Distillery award-winning Australian Botantical Gin," he said.

"A classic Tom Collins is a perfect drink on a Cairns spring day. But whenever we're not drinking gin you will find us at a few local cafes downing copious amounts of coffee.

"This led us to creating the Mr Black espresso martini. Mr Black is a coffee liqueur made for coffee purists and is crafted at a small distillery on the NSW Central Coast.

"Combine this with some local cold brew coffee from our friends at Blackbird Café and Ketel One Vodka and this drink with have you galloping around the racetrack.

"We're really excited about Meet Eat Repeat at the Amatuers and think that it's so great that a institution like the Amateurs is diversifying and moving with the trends of large capital cities.

"Meet Eat Repeat offers small businesses the opportunity to expand their profile and get in front of new customers previously unaware of their brand or product.
