These are some of the incredible dishes set to be served by street food van The Good, The Bad & The Fugly at Meet Eat Repeat 6, being held at the West Cairns Bowls Club on Saturday April 28.
Excited much? The Good, The Bad & The Fugly join a range of food vendors bringing international cuisine and smiles to TropicNow's food festival event.
Nick Maguire from GBF said Meet Eat Repeat was an opportunity to experience diverse dishes from the region's best purveyors.
"These street food events are great because generally the people that own the business and make the food are the ones out front serving and chatting to the crowds," he said.
"You often find the meals at these events are affordable compared to the bricks and mortar restaurants and open to anyone, regardless of what you're wearing, you're background, and whether you're flying solo or in a big group.Plus, it’s outdoors! Events like these help promote the food truck scene in Cairns, help promote our business and do a great job at bringing like-minded foodies and all around good folks together."Here's the GBF menu for Meet Eat Repeat on April 28:
- Happy Grillmore Sliders (x 3): John Bull organic beef, house-made damper buns, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, bush tomato chutney and aioli
- Gooda Buddha Veggie Sliders (x 3): veggie pattie, damper buns, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, beetroot relish and lime aioli (all house-made)
- Juan For The Road: beer battered local reef fish tacos (x 2), smoked peppered mackerel aioli, dressed rocket and sweet plum chilli jam
- We Support Medicinal Mozzarella: crumbed mushroom arancini (x 3) stuffed with mozzarella and served with Napoli sauce and parmesan cheese
