Fork on the Fields this Friday all set for fantastic feast of food, fun and friends

The team behind Cairns on a Fork are all set to take over the soccer pitch at Stratford this Friday with a massive line-up of local food vendors, entertainment and fun called Fork on the Fields.
Kicking off at 3pm on Friday July 6 and running until 9pm at the Stratford Dolphins Soccer Club, the popular event is back for the first time in 2018 in what is fast becoming a busy calendar of foodie events, including TropicNow's Meet Eat Repeat.
Vendors include Apex Milk Bar, The Dumpling Studio, So Hangry and newcomers like hot dog stall Snoop Doggz.
Co-organiser Dion Miller, who will also be serving up his tasty Providore Amore wood-fired pizzas and Italian desserts at the event, said 24 food vendors, including 8 new stalls, would be featured.
"We've got 24 food vendors, two bars, three young musicians plus the main act Left Unsupervised, so it's going to be a big afternoon and evening on Friday," he said.
"We are excited to be back after an 8-month break, and we have at least 7 events planned this year that we are involved with.
"The weather is looking beautiful and the kids will be kept busy with jumping castles for $5 all day jumping."
Entry to Fork on the Field is $2 for adults, with kids being free.
