Tropic Weekender: Your insider guide to the best events this weekend

We're excited about the weekend ahead - apart from a whole bunch of cool stuff happening in music, sports and the arts, SUNDAY SOCIAL is happening from 4pm at Gin Social.

This new monthly event will feature live music, smoked BBQ plates, market stalls, creative cocktails, mojitos by Bacardi, kombucha sangria by Cherries and all the good vibes.

Brought to you by the team behind Meet Eat Repeat, we'll see you on the terrace (all undercover in case it rains) at the Hilton Cairns from 4pm on Sunday, March 18.

Weather outlook features a max of 30C and some showers on Saturday and max temp of 29C and some possible showers on Sunday.
