From reggae to sea shanties and a few originals thrown in for good measure, the musical line-up for Beer 'N' Burger Fest is one of the most diverse you'll experience in Cairns this year.
Local bands Flavour and Whiskey Boat and DJ Andy B will bring the upbeat festival vibes to TropicNow's latest event Beer 'N' Burger Fest, happening on Saturday November 10 at Watson's Oval on Macnamara St.
Flavour is a local Cairns band of brothers delivering a unique mix of different genres, covers and a few originals. Originally from PNG, the Bray and Imani brothers are regulars on the pub scene the band's number one priority is to "entertain and deliver a memorable performance to the people who matter most: the audience."
Whiskey Boat is relatively new to the Cairns music scene, but the players involved are well known to live music fans. The band plays a fusion of traditional sea shanties and indie originals, with the sweet sounds of sibling harmonies of the Butler sisters, accompanied with soaring flute and violin solos and raw earthy tones to tap your toes to.
