A motorcyclist has sadly died overnight following a crash at Woree in Cairns on Thursday.
Around 2pm yesterday, emergency services were called to the intersection of Toogood Road and Torino Street.

A 72-year-old Bayview Heights man was riding his Harley Davidson when he was struck by a truck.
Police say members of the public rendered first aid to the man before paramedics, including critical care, arrived at the scene.
He was transported to Cairns Hospital is a serious condition with significant chest and leg injuries.
The motorcyclist died overnight as a result of his injuries.
The truck driver, a man aged 45, was not physically injured during the collision.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward as investigations continue.
