Drink driving and unlicenced driving are among a raft of charges laid over a motorcycle crash which claimed the life of a Cairns woman in Port Douglas.

The 27 year-old woman from Whitfield was a pillion passenger on the bike.

Both she and the 31 year-old driver were thrown from the vehicle after allegedly failing to navigate a corner on Barrier Street last night.
