    How Swede it is!

IKEA-lovers, get your clicking finger ready: online shopping with the Swedish furniture giant will be available in Cairns from April 19.

The iconic company announced the launch date of their new Cairns ‘Click & Collect’ service via postcards sent to local members of an IKEA club.

Cairns is one of the first Australian cities to receive the new service.

The much-anticipated platform will allow Cairns shoppers to purchase IKEA products online and select their preferred collection date starting from seven days from the order date.

Shoppers will receive an SMS and email when orders are ready for collection.

TropicNow is awaiting comment from IKEA as to the exact location of the Cairns depot.

Service fees start at $59 for orders up to $299. Orders between $300-$599 will cost $89 and those over $599 top out at $149.

In addition to Cairns, Click & Collect will roll out this month in Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville.
