There are 100 mentorship scholarships up for grabs for emerging or established female entrepreneurs throughout Australia.

In partnership with the Prime Minister’s Office and Cabinet and the Office for Women, Inspiring Rare Birds is coordinating a 12 month mentoring program.

Mentorships are an invaluable education for entrepreneurs allowing the mentee to receive quality one-on-one guidance from an experienced business mentor.

The Minister for Women and Employment Michaelia Cash said the Turnbull Government is committed to increasing women’s participation in the economy.

“The Government understands that when women are economically empowered they have choices. It means they are better able to look after themselves and their families,” Minister Michaelia Cash said.

“I hope these scholarships will assist women, who are working hard to create a better life, take their businesses to the next level. I look forward to seeing the progress of the successful recipients.”

To be eligible, you must be a female entrepreneur and meet one of the following demographic – regionally, rurally or remotely located; of Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander descent; Migrants and refugees; or socio-economically disadvantaged.
